After some time
I have not even thought of doing any more HTML. Never got any time. But to make the soup of things I'm learning already worse I've started on learning java. Well I'm not going to any class or anything. Its just we have this CS course in the second semester which is on java. Even though I'm going for the lectures I won't be getting a paper or any results or effect my GPA. Because I never did apply for that course.
Basically I'm going for lectures I'm not supposed to go. (Ha! you don't have to say it again, of course I'm mad!)
Will post my extended version of hello World when I get the computer in proper order. At the moment it is almost empty with only a few Gigabytes to be backed up, all ready to be formatted.
Until I find some time to learn HTML and the computer is formatted, C ya
Cheers!

Some Explaining
If you've come by this blog and wondered what the half the stuff I've said in 2 previous posts well here is a bit of explaining.
I was writing the two posts in a web page in www.webs.com while I was learning HTML (I still am learning!) and trying out new tags and stuff.
But I recently edited the HTML codes and just put in what I've wrote because it is much easier keeping those posts that way on blogger.Otherwise it keeps eating the template!! and I dunno how to fix that !
So some content may sound like Greek because I edited the content, and of course it was originally written in Greek too.
Anyway I'm trying to make a layout (thats what you call it right?) with Photoshop. I've got the design and all that, but I've to tell you it is really working.
NOT!
Well have to figure out how to do this somehow.
Sooner the better!
Cheers
oh and by the way
Don't mind the letter sizes and colours in this design.
I just tweaked it and now it looks real horrible!

A little bit more...
Good to be back learning HTML!
As you've seen I've put some background colours on the main page. But well I didn't exactly learn how.Just copied and pasted from the site I'm learning from http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp
Today I'm going to learn how exactly it is done :D
I've added the background colour of this page as black.I'm sure you can't see what I'm writing unless I change this font colour to white.I always prefer black as the background colour because it is less tiring for my eyes
Is that not so?
Now I'm going to add a different kind of font here and give it white as the color. You will not see everything I describe here since in each step I change this page.
Ok I added the white colour to letters and Comic Sans as my font and the h2 and h3 headings are in Alice Blue. The font size in the paragraph,I change it to 16 pix.Lets see what will happen and what will not.
What I've learned so far
23.53 h,15 June 2010
OK. I'm going to put everything I've learned so far in here now
On the top of the page there is a heading. In here the heading is a h1 heading which is the largest and after that I've put a h2 heading.
What I put in now to get into this line is a line breaker. These words I'm writing are written in small letters.I've put two small tags so the letters are smaller.
What I've added above is a horizontal line which can be used to separate these two paragraphs with a line.I've added a comment between these two sentences. You can see it if you right click and go to view
page source.Otherwise it is hidden from the viewer.
When you write a letter or a note Bold words and Italic words are important. We use italics when we write scientific names. And yes we
have to underline them too. Like Homo sapiens. That is the scientific name for we humans,I'm sure you know that.I don't
remember anything with a subscript right now. But in Chemistry we write water H2O. It looks like a subscript. But I'm not very sure
it is the same kind of subscript as in English language. The letters "st" in 1st is a superscript
It is good if we can use the tag big instead of using a header tag when we need large letters inside a paragraph. But I'm not sure where
they use Strong letters.Perhaps to emphasize? But there is a separate tag for emphasize. When you use "pre formatted text"
it preserves both spaces and line breaks.Like,
The road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow,if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errends meet.
And whither the? I cannot say.
(from The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien)
The tutorial I followed says that this(pre formatted text) is better when used with computer codes.I agree 100%. This poetry looks very dull this way.
Since this is quoted from Lord Of the Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien we can write it as a long quatation too.Like,
I've put in italics to make it look better.
The road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow,if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errends meet.
And whither the? I cannot say.
(from The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien)
There is a funny way of writing. This is called "Bi-directional override" (bdo). With this you can write from right to left! But this is not supported by
some browsers. That is what the tutorial I followqed says.See if you can read what I've written below.
Hello! Do you know that Lianardo da vinci kept all his record not in usual hand writing?
He wrote them with mirrored letters.
It is said that he wrote that way so no one could steal his concepts.
But it is very different from the way I've written here.
I've tried writing like that and well, when you get used to it ,it is not that hard!
Now only two more things left.Title attibute and short quatations.By Title attribute ,when you are holding the mouse pointer over an abbrivation
the long version of it is shown. Like,
The above poem is taken from the LOTR
And do you know that in LOTR there is a poem/riddle called "The riddle of the Strider".It says,
All that is gold does not glitter
I think this is more than enough for the first day of learning HTML! Hope to learn some more tomorrow.
Cheers!
